We are delighted to launch a new and exciting external speaker programme for colleagues at Charnwood Molecular.
The programme will see a wide range of guest speakers join us on a regular basis to share insights into a specific discipline, area of research or hot topic.
Senior Director of Medicinal Chemistry, James Hitchin, leads on this programme and commented:
“As a company, we recognise that we have a responsibility to invest in the ongoing professional development of our talented scientific teams. There are many benefits to enhancing the collective knowledge of our teams by providing them with the learning opportunities that they need to stay at the cutting edge of the latest developments in drug discovery and synthetic chemistry.
Our external speaker programme is part of a wider initiative here at Charnwood Molecular that is focused on supporting the growth and development of our scientists, and empowering them with the tools that they need to deliver innovative solutions to complex problems on our highly collaborative client projects.”
Guest speakers from October through to December 2022 are:
- Associate Professor Shailesh Mistry, Department of Medicinal Chemistry, University of Nottingham
- Professor Alessio Ciulli, Founder and Director, Centre for Targeted Protein Degradation (CeTPD), University of Dundee
- Dr Liam Ball, Department of Chemistry, University of Nottingham
We look forward to welcoming our guests to our facility at Charnwood Campus.
